I graduated with an M.S. from the University of Michigan School of Information in 2022, studying UX/HCI Design and Data Science. I joined this program because of my love for design, passion for research, and overall interest in how humans interact with technology. My current work focuses on designing accessible learning experiences within academia.
I have a B.A. in Sociology w. a minor in Law, Justice & Social Change from UofM, which I find useful in my everyday work in UX and product design. I believe in viewing human-computer interaction through a sociological lens to truly understand how different bodies and identities are impacted by technology and design. My additional educational interests have included urban sociology, Brazilian culture and music, and computer science research methods in social contexts.
Aside from design, I enjoy / photography / music / reading / cooking / cheese plates / New Girl / and laughing with loved ones.
