As a fellow at the Center for Academic Innovation at UofM, I've taken on a leadership role in the development of / Digital Collections / for the Center for Academic Innovation at the University of Michigan. My role surrounds providing curation leadership, building the collections online, and maintaining them.
I've also worked to design and build / Teach-Outs / into Michigan Online to preserve accessible educational experiences for learners across the globe.
Design Management
Equitable and Inclusive Course Design
The interdisciplinary nature of my work at CAI has allowed me to participate in the curation of online coursework alongside my design and development work. I have collaborated with a variety of scholars and experts to create equitable and inclusive learning experiences around a variety of topics for Teach-Outs. Teach-outs are free, open learning events focused on salient social issues that reach global audiences.
An example of this work can be seen in the Social Media Mindfullness Q&A. I helped to create and mediate a live session for the closing segment of our Teach-Out, The Power of Social Media and Effects on Children.
